Custom White Oak Stain Formula
Our custom white oak stain is one of the most requested details in our home.
Preserving the natural color of the wood was a priority for us. After testing over half a dozen top coats, methods, and stains, we achieved the perfect finish.
Method:
Thoroughly clean the surfaces.
Apply the custom oil-based stain with a sprayer.
Quickly wipe off the stain with a soft cloth, allowing some to settle in the grain for a subtle color.
Apply an additional coat of stain to certain areas as needed due to variations in the wood.
Seal and protect the wood with 2 to 3 coats of clear matte polycrylic top coat.
